No, I'm not talking about the Opelusas Campus! I'm actually talking about Football this time. This weekend the LCA Challengers will host the League's Jamboree on Friday. The Challengers are set to kickoff at 5:45 pm and 8:00 pm. The Coaches and players have been working really hard in this summer heat with two-a-day practices. All for this moment! They will finally get to put some licks on other players and not each other. The field is really looking good. New scoreboard, new lights, and new field paint and a whole lot more players. This year looks like it will be a real exciting time for Challenger Football. If you can, come on out for some Football this Friday night as we cheer on the Mighty Challengers. PS. Brian Hunt just may break out the pit!

i guess i'll allow shane the privilege of blogging this subject. he's sooooo excited!! he loves the pads, lights, field, he loves all of it...especially the TACKLING!!!! i know where we'll be friday night. there's definitely an excitement in the air with all the guys about CHALLENGER FOOTBALL. i do good to know the diff. btwn. offense & defense. when are we getting a band?
