Boys were made for "Risk Taking"!

Jay Sterling with a "flex" dive off the high rocks!

What a great day today! We were at Lake Leatherrock just north of Eureka Springs and they had a huge lake with some high dive action. All the boys were taking some serious risk. Sterling was doing some head first dives, Micah was doing whatever he wanted, Jansen just wanted to dive without his lifejacket into 20 ft deep waters (and Daddy let him, Mom said NO), Regan, he was a little cautious. All Tessy said most of the day was, "I don't think that is a good idea" and "I wouldn't do that". Finally, I said, "of course you wouldn't do that, you are not a boy, cause this is what is in the heart of young boys, ADVENTURE and CHALLENGES". Not sure if she was buying into all that talk or not. However, she finally loosened up a bit and let us be US. She even got into the action with a dive off the high rocks. You Go Girl! That's why I love you. You get into the action with all us boys.

Dad, get'in in on the action "head first"

As we all know, Life brings us various challenges, all shapes and sizes. Be confident in Christ Jesus, He will always do what He says He will do. For all you at TFC, thanks for facing the challenges with Tessy and I. Thanks for being a part of our lives!

Tonight, we will see "The Great Passion Play".

Micah "So Excited"

My co-pilot, Micah Jay, never saw Opelousas. Made 1st 14 miles only!

Here is my co-pilot sleeping on the job. Micah has been so excited to leave on vacation on the RV that I actually had to move it "out of sight" because he wanted to start sleeping in it 3 weeks before take off. He demanded to ride "next to daddy in the RV". He didn't make mile marker 15. What confidence in the pilot! I thought for a moment, that is how we should live life each day, relaxed in the arms of Jesus! He is the pilot and we are just along for the "exciting" ride of a lifetime. I love my "journey" with Christ. Boring? NO Way! Each day brings more excitement and thrills.

Wait to you hear about our 2 mile family hike in the mountains! Maybe later tonight I will post that adventure.

"Miller" Vacation Update!

Sunday afternoon departure - The whole Gang heading out for Arkansas!

Well, it is late Thursday night and we are just now getting internet access in the Ozark Mountains. Anyway, we left out on Sunday afternoon and we are having a great time. We are now in Eureka Springs, AK! We have been hanging out in some great parks in the Mtns of Arkansas. The boys are loving every minute of it - they are getting some serious "dad time". Like some 24/7 time. Tessy said they are going to have some major withdrawals once we return home. We arrived in Eureka Springs today and will be here until Monday morning and then head for home. Friday is horseback riding and swimming at a big lake with some cliff diving. Saturday - not sure. Sunday, the "Great Passion Play" and service in a local church. Driving that RV through those curves and up and downs, WOW!

More info to come. Hopefully with some pictures. Thanks for loving us and being a part of our lives. Our hearts were saddened to hear of the death of Stephanie (TFC Childrens Pastor) Bourgious' mother. The funeral was yesterday and our thoughts are with their family. We serve a great big GOD! Love you Stephanie. You have been "over the top". Tessy and I love you and your family dearly.
