What a great way to start a New Year.

Last night, new years day, we wanted to have a few people over for supper to play games and watch football, do some fireworks, and sit by the outside fire. What was gonna be just one other family turned into around 30 or 40 people. At one point, Tessy came out and asked me who all I invited (as more kept showing up). She wanted to make sure we had enough food! As I was watching kids pop fireworks outside, others sit by the fire, others playing games inside and watching football, the thought came to me, "What a great way to start a New Year!". Surrounded by family and friends - building relationships. That is what life is really about. That is why God has put is here on this earth - to build relationships and assist one another in life. Everything is the Garden of Eden was good - except - Adam being alone. I pray for many healthy relationships in this new year. Join a UL Small Group at TFC this coming Semester.
